Computex 2013: ASUS Unveils Transformer Pad Infinity

Amongst the whole range of products unveiled by ASUS at Computex 2013 in Taipei, there was a tablet that was first seen earlier this year. The device in question is a 25.6-cm (10.1-inch) screen comes with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution. It runs on a quad-core Tegra 4 chip clocked at 1.9GHz. Connectivity features include USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 3.0 and 4K output via HDMI. 
The body carries a metallic-finish which is similar to the current Zenbook and the latest Infinity tablets. Other specs include 16, 32 and 64GB variants of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, an SD-card slot, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel camera on the front. The key board dock now incorporates a multi-touch touchpad.

HCL Launches HCL ME Connect 2G 2.0 Calling Tablet

HCL recently launched the ME Connect 2G 2.0 tablet. The tablet is now available for sale on online retail store since the last week and packs a 17.78-cm (7-inch) (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, which is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor that runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera for video calling. The tablet has 2G connectivity via SIM card slot and supports voice calling. The second version of the HCL ME Connect 2G can read and write in 11 local Indian languages that includes Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi and more. 
The online orders are offering freebies worth more than Rs. 2000, and it comes pre-loaded with basic apps such as Paytm, Facebook, Twitter and apps for Games, Business, Communication, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Education, Health, etc.

Battle Of The 8-Inch Tablet: Galaxy Note 510 Vs Galaxy Tab 3 8.0

Samsung now owns two 20.3-cm (8-inch) display tablets under its umbrella and both of these are targeted at a completely difference consumers base. Earlier this year, the Korean electronics brand introduced its Apple iPad Mini rival, Galaxy Note 8.0 (510) in India. Apple iPhone 5S To Include An Improved Retina Display

BGR had previously reported that Apple has redesigned many of its internal components, but may not come up with a significant external redesign. Micromax Canvas HD Gets Android 4.2 Update

Micromax is reportedly rolling out the much-awaited Android 4.2 aka Jelly Bean update for its popular HD smartphone, Canvas HD. After previously releasing Android 4.1 update for Canvas 2 smartphone, the company has decided its time to make the latest Android version available on its high-selling Canvas HD smartphone and we are glad the company has done so.

According to MMXNewscaster report, the update is apparently available via company’s service center network, which brings the Android 4.2.1 build to the device.
